Notice of closure of the restaurant at Al. Jerozolimskie 87 in Warsaw

We have been operating the restaurant at this address, at Aleje Jerozolimskie 87 in Warsaw, since 20 years. During this time, the owner, the Polish Economic Institute, unlawfully breached our contract and used various illegal means to hinder our operations for two and a half years (May 2019 - September 2021). We finally reopened on October 1, 2021, which was extremely difficult. We defeated the Polish Economic Institute in numerous lawsuits.
The current 10-year contract expires on December 31, 2025.
During the contract renewal process, even though the Polish Economic Institute proposed many unreasonable terms, which we all agreed to, in December, they suddenly proposed a 40% rent increase. Although we presented 20 arguments that such a rent was unreasonable, we were unsuccessful and ultimately had to withdraw.
We can only apologize to our loyal customers who love us. We love you all too!
